SPECIAL SUMMER KID'S PROGRAM:
My unique kids training training program is designed for ages 6 to 12.
Kids will aquire motor skills in an effectieve and efficient manner and learn to develop key physical skills in the Korean Martial Arts of Taekwondo and Brazillian grappling Martial Arts of Jiujitsu in a FUN way.
My unique training program places emphasis on developing problem solving skills, mental focus, and personal decipline.
My skills aquisition training is based on a modern theory called Echological Dynamics/CLA (See below).

Echological Dynamics Skills Aquisition Theory:
Echo Dynamics is a modern science based approach to motor skills aquisition. A radically different way of coaching and teaching athletic skills which states that an athlete must learn to obtain specific, important information from the environment to use movement effectively. Contrary to common belief, effectieve skill aquisition is not based on "Drilling" and repeating movements over and over again. Skill aquisition is not about developing what is commonly referred to as "muscle memory". Instead, it is about picking up specific information from the environment and then acting on them. Individuals are continually regulating, adapting, and coupling their movement to information and what that information affords them. It is essential to understand that athletic performance is not a general attribute of an individual. Instead, it is their ability to effectively solve problems encountered in a specific environment through movement based on specific information.
In this approach, the role of the coach is not to dictate a specific solution, instead it is to design tasks that guide the athelete to self-orgenize and find the optimal solution.

CLA (Constraint Lead Approach):
Echo Dynamics is an umberalla theory and CLA (Constraints-Led Approach) is a subset of it. CLA aims to help understand the influences information has on performance. This approach explains how coordination emerges under various constraints (individual, task, environment) that operate under different time scales. These constraints determine affordances, which are the opportunities for action that the environment offers to the athlete. Both internal and external constraints influence these opportunities. A Constraint-Based training approach involves coaches manipulating certain conditions to challenge their players' perceptual and coordination abilities.
